This lens is as-new in the original box.
It incorporates Sony's Optical Steady Shot image stabilisation within the lens,
to enable sharper images at lower shutter speeds,
even at the extreme telephoto end.

This lens uses the same sized filters as the 18-55mm standard or "kit" lens and with that lens provides a gap-free zoom range of from 18mm to 210mm
(equivalent to 27-315mm in 35mm full-frame format).
It comes with an effective lens hood that will shade the lens and improve image contrast in many situations.
The lens has a circular aperture that gives excellent out-of-focus highlights ("bokeh").
