The Minolta Dynax 7000i, is a full frame (24x36mm) auto-focus SLR camera
It was sold in North America  as the Maxxum 7000i, and in Japan as the α [Alpha]-7700i.

  • The 7000i supports the Minolta AF lens system, and other accessories such as the remote cords.

This could be a good backup camera for a Sony Alpha camera, whether digital or film, since it should operate correctly with all the same lenses, although I emphasise that I have not been able to test this.

Top plate and LCD display
For this picture, the flash shoe protective cap has been removed
and placed behind the camera.
