all original accessories plus significant extras Very low usage: shutter count 86! ![]() Hasselblad XPAN II complete
kit. Excellent condition, with accessories and
extras. The best Panoramic camera outfit that I
have ever used. The camera has been described as
a panoramic equivalent of a Leica, and the quality of
design and manufacture is superb. The lens is
incredibly sharp and free from aberrations. (In
separate auctions I am also selling an XPAN 90mm lens
and an XPAN 30mm lens kit.)
Features
Items included in sale: Complete XPAN II outfit in all original packaging, with 45mm standard lens All original accessories as indicated above, including: camera body cap, Quick-coupling plate with hex wrench/Allen key and fixing bolt, spirit-level and strap The 45mm lens has original front and rear caps and all original packaging. Original Hasselblad XPAN camera case Original user manual and all other original literature A selection of Hasselblad publications on the original XPAN and the XPAN II, plus some other literature on XPAN cameras I may include two used batteries with life in them, but postal service regulations may require that I remove the batteries, so they may NOT be included. The camera operates on two CR2 3V Lithium batteries, so the person who wins the auction may wish to order/buy two new batteries, to use from the start.

Condition
This had reportedly been used for one film when I bought it, and since then it has only been used by me, for occasional amateur photography. Cosmetically virtually as new, with a few very minor superficial marks from careful, light use in a non-commercial environment. See the unretouched photos, which are an integral part of the description. The camera has always been used and stored in the base of the ever-ready case, which shows light signs of normal use. This has, however, protected the camera body from anything beyond light, superficial wear. The strap shows light signs of use, although in fact I have mostly used the camera with a different strap. Aperture and focussing rings rotate smoothly and the lens stops down to the correct aperture (manual diaphragm). The lens shade has been carried in my camera bag within its original box, and this box shows significant signs of use (pushed in in different places, etc.). However, this box has thus protected the very special lens shade. This small cardboard box is the only component of the outfit with obvious signs of use, as far as I can see. (There are some signs of wear on the box for the centre filter. This arrived in that condition, and was not carried around in my bag. See picture.) The filters are supplied mounted on the lens. The camera indicates an exposure history of just 86, which corresponds to 860 exposures, of which, according to the Hasselblad manual, p. 26, about 200 are made during the manufacturing process for testing purposes. Approximately 40 test exposures were made before I bought the camera, and a further 30 by me, without film, which leaves about 590 photographs taken by me with this camera. Note that for reasons of security, serial numbers have been blurred in the photographs of these items. They are, however, absolutely clear and undamaged on the camera body, the lens and the packaging. My latest film from this camera came back from processing about ten days ago, and I did high-resolution scans of the negatives yesterday. All of them are technically faultless. However, please note that as a private vendor I cant accept returns or offer a guarantee. ![]() Most components virtually as new! ![]() The Hasselblad double spirit-level, visible here, is correctly stored in the camera outfit packaging
![]() Leeds Castle in Kent A shot taken this summer on this camera with the 30mm lens that is for sale in a separate auction As originally scanned, this image would easily print at 1.4 metres wide, or wider. Here we are limited to showing a reduced-size and highly-compressed jpeg file.
